We spend our lives blaming society.
Society made us ambitious.
Society made us compare.
Society made us insecure.
Sometimes that's true.
But there is another force almost nobody questions.
Your own biology.
Not every desire is your decision.
Not every attraction is wisdom.
Not every urge deserves obedience.
A large part of what we proudly call "my choice" is simply hormones trying to complete an ancient biological program.
Status.
Sex.
Competition.
Recognition.
Nature doesn't care whether you're peaceful.
Nature cares whether you reproduce.
That's why some desires feel urgent.
The problem begins when we mistake biological impulses for personal truth.
Society pressures us from the outside.
Hormones pressure us from the inside.
Escaping one while remaining enslaved to the other isn't freedom.
Real freedom begins when you can observe both.
The crowd outside.
And the chemistry within.
